Hi! We are the Florida Fun Family! Our story started almost 20 years ago when a girl started working part-time for fun at an amusement park in Ohio to mingle with people her own age, as she spent her days working as a medical assistant in a three-doctor geriatric practice. That adventure working at the amusement park took her to Florida, first to Orlando and then to Key West where she then decided to quit her job and move to Florida. That girl was me, Renee. Mark, my husband, took me on those adventures all those years ago and eventually we fell in love, married and had boy/girl twins Xen and Eden in 2010.
We live in the Orlando Florida area, so our backyard is like a giant playground. Many of our favorite vacations and day trips take place right in our home state. Our kids have grown up having Mickey Mouse in their backyard and one of the most famous beaches just a short drive away. What an adventure it is!
Meet Mark – Mark has been in Florida since 1990. If you come to visit, you will surely find yourself an instant tour guide. Always the life of the party, Mark has a vast knowledge of all of the fun to be had and is more than willing to share it.
Mark has spent the last 10 years working helping heart-centered entrepreneurs find and thrive in their purpose.
Mark has two main passions, the love of his family and living his mission.
Meet Renee – Renee could be described as a wife, mother, and breast cancer survivor but none of those titles could tell the complete story of who she is. Renee is a woman of many hats, spending her days helping her husband with his business, and serving as President of the PTA at a school of 1,000 students.
Renee holds a B.S. in Holistic Nutrition and has 17 years of experience in the holistic health industry including 10 years as a licensed massage therapist. She also has over 9 years of experience helping heart-centered entrepreneurs.
Renee’s hobbies include running 13.1 miles for fun, all things Disney, and making any excuse she can to have a family adventure.
Meet Eden and Xen – Eden and Xen were born prematurely at 32 weeks, weighing 4 and 5 lbs. The first few weeks of their lives were spent at the Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando where their adventures began surrounded by amazing nurses and doctors. Eden and Xen made their first beach trip at 8 weeks old to the World’s Most Famous Beach, Daytona and their first Disney World Trip at 10 months old. They have had countless Florida adventures in their short 8 years.
Eden loves gymnastics, cheerleading and is the artist in the family! If you don’t find her crafting you will find her sharing life hacks with her mom.
Xen loves soccer, video games, especially Minecraft and Fortnite. He is a master builder and his mom thinks he could have a future as a comedian or architect.
